2014 Favorites: Eli

As has become my tradition, here’s a collection of favorite 2014 shots of my son Eli, now well into his fourth year. It is limited to favorites fit for public consumption: certain images will be reserved to blackmail him in high school, and the shot of him crawling down the center line on a remote desert highway (his idea, not mine!) may not send the proper parenting messages. Roads are dangerous, children should be rockclimbing instead!

    • Well, he was certainly very game to try! The oars twisted in the locks, of course, so he never achieved much, but he wanted to do it all the time and wasn’t intimidated by the large tools. If we get out boating again this summer, it’d be nice to try him on pins and clips instead of oarlocks.

  1. I echo Andrew’s sentiment, Jackson, about the wonderful memories here. All of these are really what childhood is made up of, and I always enjoy this “best of” series almost as much as your landscapes.
